My Story

My passion for circus began many years ago when I took a beginner Trapeze class in my hometown of Boise. I instantly fell in love and thus began some of the most rewarding and intense physical and mental training of my life. I stepped into the professional side of performing and teaching after many hours of training as a student, mainly in the flying trapeze and static duo as a base. Since my arrival in New York, I have performed in a plethora of fly acts, duo pieces, and some combined theater-circus experiences, as well as logged hundreds of hours as an instructor. My passion for performing and teaching have only continued to grow, I love sharing my skills with an audience, and then working to find the best teaching method for each individual student I come across. I am grateful to be a founding member of Coup de Foudre, a contemporary circus company based in Brooklyn, pushing the boundaries of traditional circus to combine elements of dance, theater, storytelling, and more, all through the structure of the flying trapeze and acrobatics.
